Vibro-Acoustic Simulations
A2Zound has thorough knowledge of vibro-acoustic simulations. We simulate acoustics, the coupling of airborne and structure-borne vibrations and structural dynamic systems.
The keys to a high quality simulation are to tightly tie the measurement to the simulation and to use practical experience of structural vibrations and acoustics.
Using reliable methods and extensive experience we have modelled a large number of products with excellent correlation between test and simulation results.
Our main tool is the finite element method (FEM) which we are very experienced at implementing with Nastran. We use the boundary element method (BEM) when suitable and have in-house software for special purpose simulations.
Examples of simulations we have created are:
- Optimization of active noise control system in aircraft and cars
- Analysis of active vibration control in cars
- Analysis of different noise reduction measures in aircraft
- Analysis of sound field in truck cabins
- Analysis of acoustic fatigue in aircraft
- Acoustic feedback simulation
