Production & DM

The Production & DM subunit is responsible for the introduction of continuous 2-D and 3-D tolerancing concepts which can be implemented very early on in the development process. They can be applied both to fixed and moving parts, and thus to the analysis of kinematic tolerances.

3DCS and VisVSA are used for 2-D and 3-D tolerancing as well as for:

• Determining functional dimensions
• Fixing shape and position tolerances
• Fixing mounting concepts
• Shaping and tolerancing of joints.
