Comfort Systems

Modern comfort systems greatly help to improve active safety because they enable concentrated, non-tiring driving. For this reason Semcon invests a great deal of effort in the development of comfort systems.

As in the related Assist Systems subunit, Semcon works as a development partner on the technical design of comfort systems for concept studies and prototypes. It also designs systems for series production. The tasks of our engineers and technicians include:

• Control unit integration
• Measuring technology integration
• Evaluation of data
• Wiring of all system components
• Networking with CAN and FlexRay vehicle buses
• Vehicle modifications
• System commissioning
• Validation
• Test driving at home and abroad.
