Bodywork

Interesting tasks await the employees of the bodywork section. Here craft skills are required – panel-beating, drilling, welding, riveting, soldering, and more and more frequently bonding. The workshop has all the machines needed to fabricate sheet metal and body parts individually. They permit:

• Producing individual sheet metal components
• Building up partial and complete bodies
• Producing cutting gauges, assembly fixtures and adjusting devices
• Making cutaway models

Our range of services encompasses the making of fixtures, the joining of individual parts on the welding line and the measurement of body assemblies and bodies. This makes the ideal place to go for constructing design studies, technology demonstrators and test vehicles, for building special vehicles (for example stretch vehicles), and for constructing show and concept cars.

On request our shop staff can handle the restoration of vintage cars for museums, or the fitting of safety equipment to vehicles used in motor sport events, and even the reconstruction of replicas accurate in every detail.
