Complete Vehicle

The Complete Vehicle subunit handles the planning, coordination and communication of complete vehicle tests in vehicle development projects. Semcon’s assistance extends from the initial concept to the market launch in conformity with the validation approach:

• Preparation of engineering specifications
• Drawing up of descriptions and profiles
• Coordination of tests by the technical departments
• Reviewing of the stage of development

Of course, the Complete Vehicle unit also takes care of the following:

• Coordination and support activities relating to vehicle construction, vehicle 
  use and customer databases (change management)
• Organization, performance, evaluation and coordination of endurance driving
  tests in the company’s own testing center in southern Spain
• Support for development runs and acceptance runs
• Performance of special whole-vehicle tests on approved test tracks
• Strict observance of confidentiality requirements.

Other services include NVH development (modal analysis, binaural signal analysis using dummy heads for measurement, FFT, noise, psychoacoustics, insulation) and benchmarking studies (whole vehicle or system analyses, for example for bodyshell concepts).
